Suzuki has unveiled the all-new Suzuki Vitara, a practical, small SUV which is fun and easy to drive and ideal for families. The new compact crossover is set to be popular and a strong competitor for rivals including the Renault Captur and Kia Soul. Available to buy now from CMC Motor Group, the Suzuki Vitara starts from just £114749 to £21,899.
The Vitara has a bold new look, due to its sculpted bodywork and striking angular lines. There will be plenty of options for personalisation, with a choice of 10 body colours, two styling packs and a black or white contrasting roof.
Inside, the Suzuki Vitara feels fresh and spacious. Thanks to its increased height, there is ample headroom and room for three adults in the back seats. The driving position is excellent, the dials are clear and controls are easy to access. The generous 375-litre boot is flexible with an adjustable floor.
The entry-level Vitara comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, DAB radio with USB and Bluetooth® connectivity and cruise control. Moving up to SZ-T, the Vitara features 17-inch alloys and a navigation system, while the range-topping SZ5 boasts LED headlights, keyless entry and a panoramic sunroof. On the horizon to join the range is a Vitara Sport model, which promises to be an exciting, sporty SUV.
The new Suzuki Vitara offers two engines – a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.6-litre turbo diesel, which both produce 118bhp. The diesel comes with six-speed automatic transmission while the petrol comes with either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol engine with front-wheel drive is set to deliver 53.5mpg and 123g/km CO2 emissions. The diesel will produce just 106g/km of CO2 emissions in front-wheel drive.
The optional ALLGRIP 4-wheel Drive system includes four driving modes – Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock – giving you complete flexibility. Whether you're fuel-saving in automatic or driving in conditions needing four-wheel drive, the Suzuki Vitara has it covered.
All models in the new Suzuki Vitara range have seven airbags and automatic braking as standard.
